Open Connect

For the first time in the US we will be showing the all new Open Connect BMS interface. Open Connect provides a hardware solution for interfacing our Apollo based Fire Alarm Control systems with a wide range of Building Management Systems (BMS systems). The Open Connect hardware resides in a small cabinet with a simple two wire connection to the fire control, and 24VDC power. Open connect supports LonWorks, BACnet, Modbus and internet standards. Open Connect provides rapid deployment without the need for an automation specialist.

Open Connect hardware along with Operational Specifications will be available at the Electronic Security Expo June 16th – 17th 2010.

eLAN RS and Elite RS

eLAN RS and Elite RS Analog Fire Alarm Control panels are a cost effective networked or stand-alone solution to most small and medium sized installation. Panel ranges include an option for a built in digital dialer capable of reporting to the sub-point level, along with expansion to two full analog loops. RS Panels may also be networked together and include an RS485 bus for annunciators and graphical displays.

Elite RS is now available from our distributors in our ‘Quick-Start Kit’ [1 single loop panel, 10 Photo Electric Detectors with bases, 2 Manual Pull Stations and 1 Input module]. In addition, VES is pleased to announce the availability of our new e-LAN Quick start Kit for Engineered Systems Distributors. Our Quick Start Kit is aimed at providing a basic set of equipment at a reduced cost from individual components.
